A Letter From Our Founder:
Welcome to the Sir Lawrence Health Foundation’s website. I am writing to you on behalf of our organization, which was established to address the challenges that led to the tragic and unnecessary death of my late husband, Sir Lawrence Sr., in a motor accident in Nigeria in 2018. Our mission is to ensure that Nigerians have access to well-equipped medical facilities and to end the preventable loss of life caused by inadequate healthcare. Read more
We are an independent non-profit Organization under the umbrella of Idea International Diabetes Association committed to bringing about better health care through education, awareness, and empowerment to people in Igboland, Nigeria.
Through our programs and initiatives, we strive to educate individuals on how to take charge of their health. We also work to empower communities to advocate for better access to healthcare services. We strive to promote equity and improve health outcomes for all members of society, especially those who are underserved and mIgbolandarginalized. We are dedicated to making a meaningful and sustainable impact on the health and well-being of people in Igboland.

WHAT WE DO
- Promote healthy lives for all in Igboland through education, awareness, and improvement.
- Provide a directory of quality medical facilities and services
- Provide face-face and online health education coaching
- To train health advocates who will visit churches, schools, and organizations to provide health education on major health issues such as diabetes, high blood pressure, hypoglycemia, and heart attack.
- To Provide training on how to assess and perform first aid and CPR in emergencies such as car accidents, hypoglycemia, and strokes.
- We can help you find a well-equipped community hospital and local services.
